How do I evaluate tile slip resistance?
Slip resistance is measured by coefficient of friction (COF) and R-rating. Our anti-slip tiles use surface texture and dry-grain technology to enhance wet-state performance, making them suitable for bathrooms, balconies, and exterior engineering applications.
What is the difference between 55° soft light, glossy, and matte finishes?
55° soft light sits between glossy and matte: the gloss level is soft, authentically bright without glare, preserving stone texture while reducing light pollution. Glossy offers bright, luxurious visual effects; matte is more understated and delicate.
What is the difference between sintered stone slabs and standard tiles?
Sintered stone slabs are large-format ultra-thin panels up to 1600×3200mm with high flexural strength, suitable for integrated countertop and wall designs. Standard tiles are primarily used for floor and wall surfaces, offering more diverse size and thickness options.
Do tiles require expansion joints during installation?
Yes. Joints absorb thermal expansion and contraction between tile and substrate, preventing arching and hollowness. A standard joint width of 1.5–3mm is recommended; rustic and large-format products may require slightly wider joints, paired with grout to enhance the overall finish.
